Frequently asked questions

What data do I need to run an audit?
For each employee you need: which Modern Award covers them, their classification level (e.g., Level 1-5), their employment type (full-time, part-time, or casual), and their current hourly pay rate. You can find the award and classification in your employment contracts or payroll system.
How accurate are the pay rate calculations?
All pay rate data comes directly from the Fair Work Commission's published Modern Award pay tables, covering 155 awards and over 40,000 data points. The data is updated after each Annual Wage Review. This audit checks base hourly rates -- it does not assess penalty rates, allowances, or overtime which require additional context about specific working arrangements.
Is this a substitute for a professional audit?
No. This is an indicative compliance assessment, not a formal legal audit. Think of it as a health check -- it flags potential issues so you know where to focus. For legally binding compliance certification, engage a workplace relations lawyer or registered industrial agent. This report is an excellent starting point and can save you significant time and money in the process.
What happens to my data?
Your data is processed securely and stored encrypted. We do not share employee information with third parties. You can request deletion of your data at any time. See our privacy policy for full details.
Can I run the audit again if my pay rates change?
The one-off report covers a single audit. If you need to run audits regularly (recommended at least annually, or whenever rates change on 1 July), the Business plan at $99/month gives you unlimited audits and is more cost-effective after just two reports.

Disclaimer: This compliance audit report is an indicative assessment only and does not constitute legal advice. It checks base pay rates against Modern Award minimums using Fair Work Commission published data. It does not assess penalty rates, allowances, overtime, leave entitlements, or superannuation compliance. Always verify compliance with the Fair Work Ombudsman or a qualified workplace relations professional.
